Leni says Palace overreacted to her remark on slow aid delivery'Magtulungan tayo dapat walang pulitika'

Facing reporters in Buhi, Camarines Sur Thursday (Jan. 5), Robredo said her remark two days earlier that aid was slow to come by for typhoon victims was only applicable to select areas.
“Iyong panahon ngayon, panahon na magtulung-tulungan tayo. Parang nag-over react naman ata.

MalacaƱang has cried foul over the Vice President’s remark that relief operations in Bicol were slow, saying it was unfair to disaster officials, social workers, and other volunteers who were on Ground Zero even before Nina made a landfall.
Dapat walang pulitika ang pag-ayos sa disaster,” she said, noting that politikos in the areas she has visited in Camarines Sur, Albay and Camiguin expressed willingness to assist even if they are not her party mates.
