CONFIRMED: M/V Susitna ambulance sea vessel from Alaska just arrived on Friday, December 2, 2016


M/V Susitna, Philippine Red Cross’  ambulance vessel from Alaska just arrived on Friday, December 2, 2016 at Subic Bay Freeport Zone.

This ship will serve as the biggest ambulance and disaster response sea vessel in the country. 

The ambulance ship was acquired because of the effort of Philippine Red Cross chairman and Sen. Richard Gordon.

It will serve as emergency units, fast transport and landing vessel, relief supply transport ship, hospital ship, medical facility deployment ship, sea rescue vessel, mass evacuation vessel, humanitarian logistics ship, mobile operations command post and humanitarian education and training ship.
