The Liberal Party has no plans of breaking its alliance with President Rodrigo Duterte despite their differences on the issue of giving the late dictator Ferdinand Marcos a hero’s burial.
A report which aired on ABS-CBN’s “TV Patrol” newscast Friday (Nov. 18) quoted LP president Senator Francis Pangilinan as saying that the transfer of Marcos’ remains to the Libingan ng mga Bayani, which Duterte ordered, wasn’t a “dealbreaker” for their alliance with the administration.
He said LP continues to support Duterte in his efforts to achieve peace and end labor contractualization. [source]
