The Philippine National Police on Friday confirmed that the body of former president Ferdinand Marcos Sr. will be brought to the Libingan ng mga Bayani (LNMB) in Taguig this morning
National Capital Region Police Office Chief Supt. Oscar Albayalde told dzMM that Marcos’ body was airlifted from Laoag, Ilocos Norte 9 a.m. Friday.
He said Marcos’ remains will possibly arrive before noon today.
“ the AFP staff was requested to release P900,000 for Marcos’ military escort. Minadali talaga sila. Kasi today ililibing. And the Marcoses and AFP were purposely sneaky about it kasi alam nilang there are protests planned for Dec 11, the tentative date of the burial”, the unverified source adds.
CNN Philippines also shared via Twitter that flowers for the late strongman have arrived at the Libingan ng mga Bayani.
