Ramos resigns as special envoy to China
Following 3 months of being a special envoy, Former President Fidel Ramos on Monday said he had surrendered as the Duterte association's extraordinary emissary to China, as demonstrated by a report by GMA News.
Ramos said he surrendered when President Rodrigo Duterte returned to the country from a state visit to China. He attested the news on Monday when he offered his respects to the late Thai King Bhumibol Adulyadej at the Royal Thai Embassy in Makati.
Ramos recognized the post in July, in the wake of the Philippines' important triumph in the United Nations-maintained arbitral tribunal in The Hague, which invalidated China's cases to most of the advantage rich South China Sea. [source]
