GORDON WON`T APOLOGIZE TO DE LIMA: 'Ikaw ang mag apologize sa Senado, nanganganib ka na!'
Senator Leila de Lima is insisting for an apology from Senator Richard Gordon, however, the latter said he will not apologize and said that De Lima should be the one to apologize.
“There’s nothing to apologize [for]. They should apologize to the Senate. She is [in danger] of being censured by the Senate now,” Gordon sad.
Gordon said that De Lima concealed the information on the kidnapping case against Matobato that was filed by the wife of Sali Makdum and De Lima denied the accusation.
“I take serious offense to such unfair insinuations and I demand an apology for the false accusations,” De Lima said.
“Sino ba tumakbo? Huwag naman natin patulan lahat ng paputok nila. Sino ba umalis? Si De Lima,” Gordon said.
“Sino ba nag-walkout? Itu-tuloy ko talaga eh. Sila nag-walkout eh. Ano ba ibig sabihin sa sinasabi nila? Eh di confront natin testigo. Pagkakataon na nila; very serious, kdinapping for ransom, pinatay yung tao, hindi pa nakikita hanggang ngayon,” Gordon added.
“Ang material concealment alam ni Senador De Lima na meron siya di ba sinabi niya ‘I’m sorry, I had it in my notes’ kaya sabi ko ‘it’s alright, it’s just an oversight’,” he explained.
The Senate hearing of extra judicial killings will continue but Matobato is no longer needed said by Gordon.
“Hindi na importante si Matobato. Huhulihin na ‘yan ng kidnapping for ransom. Hindi dapat pinapatulan na, binabastos yung Senado,” Gordon said. [source]
