A whoopping 350% Data of Crime, Rape, and EJK Cases When Sen Leila de Lima Was Still the DOJ Secretary
Apparently, many Filipinos are still only depending on radio and TV news and newspapers. And although social media has also becoming a source of information, some major news website are considered bias against President Duterte, and do not report everything that the public should know. This led to the born of bloggers who bravely expose the truth.
Although not a journalist, MJ Quiambao Reyes patiently made a research on the data of crime, rape, number of drug addicts, and victims of the ridiing-in-tandem when Sen. de Lima was then the DOJ (Department of Justice) secretary under the administration of President Benigno ‘Noynoy’ Aquino III. The summary is very scary and unimaginable.
Citing government websites and old news reports, the crime rate and rape cases from 2010 to 2014 is 350% and 92%, respectively. It should be noted that 70% of rape victims are children. Meanwhile, the number of drug addicts from 1.7 million in 2012 to 3.7 million in 2016. On the other hand, the Crime Solution Efficiency Rate in 2013 is only 28.56%.

Setting politics aside, we join MJ Quiambao Reyes and millions of Filipinos in asking – Sen. Leila de Lima, where were you when all these crimes happened, and what have you done? How did you use your power to somehow give justice to the poor victims? And to the CHR (Commission on Human Rights), did you investigate the way you are doing now? [source]
